The Office : From There to Here

An Origin Story

Every cinematic universe of late has explored an "Origin Story" in some capacity.

It is a great avenue for fans of the work to truly understand why characters are the way they are and it sheds light on events that have helped shape the characters they know and love.

Oddly vacant from these recent origin stories is that of the beloved characters and their respective storylines within "The Office" universe.

I pondered why "The Office" was exempt from this trend.

What is the matter here?

I then proceeded to ask myself a simple question :

What is the story before the story?

After much soul searching and a bunch of beers . . . and a few THC Gummies :

"The Office : From There to Here. An Origin Story" was born.

What started out as a "COVID Lockdown" Passion Project, quickly developed into an all-encompassing writing expose. This project allowed me to express myself through words and it shoved me to my "creative limit". Alongside that, it let me develop my own fictitious world adjacent to the one we within the walls of

Suite 200 at the Scranton Business Park.

From late night scribbles of weird ass ideas that could only be deemed "Creed-worthy" to long mornings staring at the blank page trying to figure out what Michael would blurt out next , this project had it all.

It was fulfilling beyond comprehension.
